Please read carefully before booking. By booking any appointment with The Beauty Dash York, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agreed to the following Terms & Conditions. These terms apply to all treatments, services, and consultations provided by The Beauty Dash York. No exceptions will be made.
GENERAL TREATMENT CONSENT
All treatments provided by The Beauty Dash York are elective cosmetic or aesthetic procedures. Results vary between individuals, and no specific outcome can be guaranteed.
You acknowledge that all treatments carry inherent risks, which may include but are not limited to:

Allergic reactions to products or pigments

Light-headedness or discomfort

Redness, swelling, bruising, or bleeding

Infection or delayed healing
-
Scarring or pigmentation changes
You confirm that you have disclosed all relevant medical history, medications, allergies, and contraindications prior to treatment. Failure to do so releases The Beauty Dash York from liability for adverse outcomes.
PUBLICITY & MARKETING MATERIALS
You authorise The Beauty Dash York to take photographs and videos before, during, and after treatment for educational, marketing, social media, record-keeping, insurance, and legal purposes.
You waive all rights to compensation, royalties, or ownership of these materials and release The Beauty Dash York from any related claims.
RIGHT TO REFUSE OR DISCONTINUE TREATMENT
The Beauty Dash York reserves the right to refuse or discontinue treatment at any time if treatment is deemed unsafe, unsuitable, or if professional advice is not followed.
Clients may also choose to discontinue treatment at any time; however, full payment remains due, as time, preparation, and products have already been allocated exclusively for the appointment.
PAYMENT POLICY
All treatments and consultations are elective. Full payment is the client’s responsibility and is due as stated at booking or on the day of treatment by cash or bank transfer only, unless otherwise specified.
All services, booking fees, consultation fees, and gift vouchers are non-refundable and non-transferable.
Gift vouchers cannot be exchanged for cash.
The Beauty Dash York is not responsible for the cost of corrective treatments, revisions, or removals carried out by third parties.
BOOKING FEES, CONSULTATIONS & APPOINTMENT CONFIRMATION

A 50% booking fee is required to secure all treatment appointments

Consultations are charged 100% upfront
-
No appointment or consultation is confirmed until payment has been received

Booking fees and consultation fees are non-refundable under all circumstances
These fees compensate for reserved time, preparation, product allocation, administrative work, and loss of opportunity to offer the slot to another client.
Any attempt to dispute, reverse, or withdraw a payment may result in legal action and permanent refusal of future bookings.
CANCELLATION & RESCHEDULING POLICY
(STRICTLY ENFORCED)
This policy applies regardless of reason, including but not limited to:

Illness (including colds, flu, viruses)

Accidents
-
Bereavement
-
Family or work emergencies

Travel issues
-
Change of mind
How to Reschedule (IMPORTANT)

All cancellations or reschedule requests must be made via WhatsApp or phone only

Requests may be made by call or text message
-
Social media messages (Facebook, Instagram, etc.) will not be accepted and will not be considered valid notice
Business Hours

Tuesday – Saturday: 10:00am – 6:00pm

Closed Sundays and Mondays
Messages received outside of business hours will be responded to during the next working day.
The time and date the message is received within business hours determines whether sufficient notice has been given.
Rescheduling Limits

A minimum of 72 hours’ notice is required

Appointments may be rescheduled once only

After one reschedule, the booking fee is forfeited
Excessive Rescheduling / No-Show Policy

Clients who reschedule or cancel more than twice within a 6-month period will no longer be eligible to book future appointments
-
This policy exists to respect professional time, preparation, and commitment
-
Repeated no-shows and last-minute changes will not be tolerated
Late Cancellations & No-Shows

Less than 72 hours’ notice: 100% of the total treatment value is charged
-
Same-day cancellations or failure to attend: 100% charge applies
There are no exceptions.
Appointment slots are reserved exclusively and cannot be filled at short notice.
ILLNESS & HEALTH & SAFETY POLICY
If you are unwell, do not attend your appointment.
This includes, but is not limited to:

Colds
-
Flu
-
Viral or contagious illnesses
-
Any condition that may pose a risk to others
Clients who attend while unwell may be refused treatment. All charges will still apply.
Health and safety takes priority over all personal circumstances. Attempting to attend while knowingly unwell to avoid charges will not be accommodated.
PARKING & ARRIVAL POLICY
On-street parking is available directly outside the studio and is free for up to 60 minutes only.
It is the client’s responsibility to:

Check the duration of their appointment in the Fresha app or booking confirmation email

Ensure parking time is sufficient for the full appointment length
The Beauty Dash York is not responsible for any parking fines, penalties, or charges incurred during your visit.
Please plan your journey in advance and allow extra time to:

Find the studio
-
Secure parking
-
Account for traffic or delays
York can be particularly busy during:

Rush hours
-
Race days
-
Christmas period
-
Local events or road closures
Late arrival due to parking, traffic, or difficulty locating the studio does not override the late arrival or cancellation policy. If you arrive more than 10 minutes late, your appointment may be cancelled in line with our Late Arrival Policy.
LATE ARRIVAL POLICY
Appointments run back-to-back.

Arriving more than 10 minutes late will result in cancellation

Booking fee will be forfeited

A new booking fee will be required to rebook
Late arrivals impact treatment quality and other clients. Please allow adequate time for travel and parking.

The Beauty Dash York is committed to protecting your personal data.
Data Collection
We may collect personal information including name, address, email address, phone number, and payment details.
Your data is used solely to manage bookings, deliver services, and communicate relevant information.
Marketing
Marketing communications are only sent with explicit consent. You may unsubscribe at any time.
Data Retention
Personal data is retained only as long as reasonably necessary and stored securely.
Cookies
Cookies are used to enhance website functionality. Disabling cookies may affect performance.
Third-Party Links
We are not responsible for the privacy practices of external websites linked from our site.

Requests may take up to 28 days to process.
The first request is free; subsequent requests may incur a £10 administrative fee.
COMPLAINTS PROCEDURE
All complaints must be submitted in writing by email only to thebeautydashyork@gmail.com within 14 days of the appointment.
Complaints submitted via social media, messaging apps, or third-party platforms will not be accepted.
